Meet Our Team
As the CEO of Perfect Promotions, Joan thrives on all aspects of running the business; from meeting with clients to designing the custom patented products and navigating the ever-changing marketplace. After working many years in the promotional marketing industry, Joan discovered her love for the creative process and has developed long-lasting relationships with clients. In 2002, Joan purchased Verite and successfully produced award-winning ideas for clients and their patients. In 2013, Verite joined forces with Perfect Promotions in order to strengthen creativity and provide a full-service team to better serve clients. Today, Joan maintains her inspiration and balance by entertaining family and friends with good food, much laughter and Bruce Springsteen hits playing in the background.
As Vice President, Stephen takes on many responsibilities within the company, but his main role is to be the head advisor and husband to the CEO. With his experience as a teacher and high school football coach, Stephen brings a unique perspective and insight to the Perfect Promotions team that brings their level of competition to new heights. Stephen is best described as a visionary thinker and the friendly face of the company. With Stephen and Joan’s roles combined, it’s more than just the x’s and o’s – it’s about the game plan for success.
Tracy is our rock star problem-solving idea generator, who’s at the ready to take a new project and listen to clients’ needs. She enjoys tackling new ideas and finding ways to get the sales force motivated. Her passion outside of working with clients is spending time with her family – her husband and 3 children – visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, cooking and watching her kids play sports.
Kayla is our friendly customer-facing sales master that is responsible for bringing ideas to life through research and brain-power. Her favorite part of working at Perfect Promotions is bringing customer ideas to fruition by delving into the latest trends and design. Kayla keeps up with all client questions and requests in a timely matter, and gets the answers and info needed to stay on track. You’re in good hands with Kayla! When she’s not tackling big projects, she’s at home chasing a very active 2-year-old.
Helping clients set and achieve their marketing goals is Madison’s focus, and she’s recently joined the team as our sales representative to get that job done. Bringing 8+ years of experience in multiple industries, Madison joined Perfect Promotions after relocating to Missouri in September of 2022, and she’s a perfect fit given her passion for helping clients creatively think outside the box. She enjoys seeing custom work come to life throughout the different production stages and believes that anything is possible! Outside of wow-ing clients, Madison enjoys hiking trails, kayaking, drinking craft beer and singing Shania Twain karaoke – Let’s go girls!
No detail is overlooked when Valerie is at the helm. As our Strategic Account Manager, she dives deep into the fine points and ensures all pieces are in place before moving forward. With a variety of creative projects to assist with, Valerie’s passion for the intricacies of the work leads to happy clients and great results. A favorite project to-date has been the Parade of Hearts art exhibition in Kansas City – One that we all loved being part of! Outside of the office, Valerie will spend her time outdoors at the lake, reading a good book or playing pickleball with family and friends.
Every successful team needs a complex problem solver – And that’s Kathy. Her attention to detail is critical for our clients and business, and she manages the nitty-gritty numbers that keep all aspects of our company flowing efficiently. Her passion lies in work that allows her to find ways to save money and create efficiency. Outside of work, Kathy enjoys making photo books of past vacations, landscaping around her home and watching college football – Go Central Missouri Mules!
Our daily office tasks can be a hefty load to tackle, but Sheila jumps right in with her passion to organize projects for our sales team and assist with finances. Sheila joined the Perfect Promotions team after 10 years working as a sales administrator, and brings a unique expertise of organizing and focusing on details to help our office run smoothly. While working in the office, she enjoys volunteer outings and community service projects with our team. However her favorite time is spent with family and friends, including three grandchildren that keep her on her toes.
Angie works closely with Kathy to accurately keep balances and budgets in check – making them one dynamic financial duo! As our accounts payable clerk, Angie enjoys working with numbers and analyzing data, while being hands-on managing finance questions and resolving any discrepancies. Her attention to detail in invoices and organizational methods keeping up-to-date records of payment ensures our clients accuracy when it comes to invoicing. Angie actively spends her free time outside in nature and enjoys creating fun, new traditions with family.
Gellie’s unique, hardworking spirit and customer service skillset fits perfectly within our Perfect Promotions team. With previous customer-facing experience, Gellie wanted to expand her passion for client service and discover her strengths within the promotional products industry. By applying skills from ongoing trainings and previous jobs, Gellie showcases her dedication to our customers’ satisfaction and turns challenging situations into a success for all involved. Gellie doesn’t stop until the job gets done right – AND on time. In addition to working hard for our clients, she spends time playing guitar and hanging out with loved ones.
Martin is our champion Accounts Receivable Clerk and our point-guy for accounting, balancing of books, payment reconciliation and ensuring issues are promptly resolved. Martin has proven to be a quick learner with every process tossed his way, and has quickly applied his knowledge and experience from 8 years in accounting and sales for international clients. Martin is a true family guy and prioritizes both indoor and outdoor activities with his kids on his days off.
